Well, to be honest, we loved it. We'll try to explain why this is the best Dyson vacuum cleaner ever. The Dyson 360 Eye robot features eight cyclones, all of which have been fine-tuned to increase airflow and generate "powerful centrifugal forces"- that's strong suction to you and me. And this is a top professional vacuum. It may look like something from Ghostbusters, but it certainly busts all the dust and dirt away from carpets and hard floors.
It comes with a patented carrying backpack frame which has an Air Stream Comfort system and padding.
It features ventilation pads that effectively reduce heat buildup on the back. Along with this, it has a mesh with ventilation on three sides, which reduces sweating.
Great ease of mobility - the BV 5/1 backpack vacuum allows unrestricted and easy use in areas where conventional cleaners can be tricky to use.

Russell Hobbs is another leading electrical supplier, and the super-efficient Russell Hobbs Turbo Lite offers all the benefits of a handheld vacuum but with the option of adding a floor head and telescopic tube - all at a very cheap price. So, whether you’re cleaning your carpets, laminate floors, keeping on top of allergy sufferers, or cleaning stairs or a car, you can rely on this lightweight vacuum.
This Russell Hobbs hoover is quick, convenient, and works brilliantly on all floors. Whilst the 2-in-1 crevice and brush attachment comes in extra handy, with these add-ons, you can get up all the dust and dirt from tricky cracks and crannies, such as areas down the sides of your sofa or the edges of stairs! You can also use the brush tool for cleaning curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. This 3-in-1 handheld vacuum is great when used as an upright stick vacuum, too. Great on hard floors and carpets.
SUMMARY: Good for everyday use when you don't have particularly difficult or heavy jobs (especially good with pet hair). We thought it would be suitable for students, small flats and light domestic use where keeping "on top of cleaning" was the aim rather than anything too harsh. Also, an unbelievably cheap price! A good lightweight stick option.

A compact, handheld vacuum from Vax makes an appearance in our vacuum cleaner guide. Not for full household cleaning, but we found this to be great for cleaning sofas, cars, spills, pet hair, and more. So if you are looking for something handy and compact, this Vax cordless is definitely worth a look!
Could this be the right vacuum for you? Well, the main benefits on this handheld vacuum were:
Pet cleaning - in the UK, we love our animals, but removing cat and dog hair (and any pet hair) from our furniture and sofas can be difficult. This super model makes it easy.
Handy Tools - with a collection of handy accessories and tools to help you keep your home spotless, it's an adaptable little model.
Easy to use and decent battery life
Decent size storage and wastage bin - the bin has a capacity of 0.5 litres and is easy and hygienic to empty which we love. This is quite a good size for a small hand-held vacuum. A simple trigger controls the release, so you don’t come into contact with any of the dust and dirt.
BEST VAC REVIEWS SUMMARY: A lovely handheld and bagless vacuum, it was dinky and had a limited battery life, but it performed well when fully charged and ready for action. Small and perfectly formed, it's not the most potent version on the market, but as with most Vax models, it offers great value for money. One of the top vacuums and an excellent cleaner for pet hair.
16. Sebo Automatic X7 ePower Upright
The Sebo Automatic X7 is stunning at first glance, with a minimal aesthetic mirroring traditional upright cleaners… but with the functionality of modern machines included. Our teams loved this surprise entry.
Powered by an intelligent computer control system, you never need to change switch settings while in use. Instead, the brush head height is automatically adjusted as it moves from one floor type to another – you never need to stop or start between rooms or different areas of the home -it did a good job everywhere. What’s more, the Sebo Automatic X7 will shut down if a blockage is detected to avoid any performance loss. It also has a number of handy crevice tools. Fab corded vacuum option.
SUMMARY VACUUM: A lovely and stylish model, we loved the performance and looks of this fab Sebo vacuum cleaner. A trendy upright is hard to find, but here is a great one for you, traditional Hoover lovers! It could be a good new vacuum for any home.
17. Hoover Whirlwind Upright
Hoover is such a famous brand in the vacuuming world that they actually are a verb (to hoover!) It's only right, therefore, that one of their vacuums is in our top vacuum cleaners guide - so here it is, the Hoover Whirlwind!
Yes, prepare to breeze through your cleaning chores with the Hoover Whirlwind, a great priced lightweight vacuum (upright vacuum cleaner model) with an A rating for energy efficiency - to be honest, it may look old fashioned and traditional but that doesn't mean it doesn't get the job done and it maintains a strong suction and floor head. It was a thoroughly good and solid performer. The price is the real selling point here - it is one of the cheapest upright vacuums around - and that is one of the reasons it has entered our guide to the best vacuum cleaners 2021.
SUMMARY BEST HOOVER: We found that this suited people who favoured traditional vacuums at a cheap price. Whilst this vacuum wasn't one of the prettiest or most potent on the market, its price was a total knockout.

Our final vacuum in the top vacuum cleaners guide is a super powerful handheld bagless version - you guessed it - from Dyson! It was the best of the handheld hoovers in our best vacuums guide, combining great results with a stylish and sleek appearance. We found that the top features of this handheld vacuum were:
Hygienic bin ejection - we believe it's essential to have a handheld option for easy emptying. This version essentially allows you to remove dust and debris without needing to touch it.
30-minute running time - The Dyson V7 Trigger runs for 30 minutes. Yes, you heard right! This gives you plenty of time to clean every room and also makes it ideal for cleaning crumbs out of your car, the back of your sofa, pet hair, or accidents.
Tools and accessories - handy tools also aid in accurate cleaning around skirting boards and tough-to-reach areas in your home where others can't get to.
Mini motorised tool removes ground-in and deep dirt. For tougher dirt, you can switch to MAX mode for 6 minutes of extra power or a powerful mode for longer everyday cleaning. This option is something not expected of a handheld model!
